Terms of Use
Last updated 15 October 2026
These Terms are an agreement between you and FlauntBit about your use of the FlauntBit app and our website, flauntbit.com. By creating an account or using FlauntBit, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy (flauntbit.com/privacy) and our Community Guidelines (flauntbit.com/community-guidelines). If you don’t agree, please don’t use FlauntBit.
1. What FlauntBit is
FlauntBit is a network for artists. You can build a profile and a shareable artist card, show your work, find other artists in Discover, connect and chat with them, and post to the Scene.
FlauntBit is a place to meet and collaborate. We don’t hire, book, employ or pay artists, and we aren’t part of any arrangement you make with another user. FlauntBit is free to use.
FlauntBit is new and still changing. We may add, change or remove features, and we may pause the service for maintenance.
2. Who can use FlauntBit
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract under Indian law. You can’t use FlauntBit if we’ve removed your account before, or if the law doesn’t allow you to.
3. Your account
- Sign in with your own mobile number, Google account or Apple ID, and keep them secure. You’re responsible for what happens on your account.
- Use your real name or the name you’re professionally known by, and keep your profile accurate.
- Have only one account. Don’t create one for someone else, or to get around a block or a suspension.
- Your username is your public link (flauntbit.com/your-username). We may reclaim a username that impersonates someone, infringes a trademark or misleads people.
- If you think someone else has got into your account, tell us at support@flauntbit.com.
4. Your content
You own what you post: your profile, photos, links, posts, thoughts and messages (“your content”).
You give FlauntBit a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, store, copy, resize, display and distribute your content so we can run FlauntBit. This includes showing your public profile, artist card and public posts in Discover and in share previews, and featuring them when we promote FlauntBit.
This licence ends when you delete the content or your account. It continues only for messages that stay in other people’s chats after you delete your account (as our Privacy Policy explains), for copies others have already shared, and for copies the law requires us to keep.
You confirm that you have the rights to everything you post, and permission from anyone who can be identified in it. Keep your own copies, because FlauntBit isn’t a backup service.
5. Rules: zero tolerance for abuse
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You must not post, send or share anything that:
- is pornographic or sexually explicit, or sexualises a child in any way;
- harasses, bullies, threatens or defames anyone, or invades their privacy, including by sharing someone’s personal information or intimate images without their consent;
- insults or discriminates against people for their religion, caste, race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability or nationality;
- promotes violence, terrorism, self-harm or suicide, or shows graphic violence;
- is harmful to children;
- infringes copyright, trademarks or other rights, including passing off someone else’s work as yours;
- impersonates a person or organisation, or misleads people about who you are or where content comes from;
- is knowingly false or misleading, or is AI-generated or altered content that could be taken as real, without a clear label;
- is spam, a scam, phishing or unsolicited advertising, or contains malware;
- promotes gambling, money laundering or any other illegal activity;
- threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, its friendly relations with other countries, or public order;
- breaks any law.
You also must not:
- scrape or collect data from FlauntBit, or use bots or automation, without our written permission;
- use connection requests or chat to spam, pressure or harass people;
- try to break, overload or get around FlauntBit’s security or limits, or reverse-engineer the app;
- collect other users’ personal data, or contact them outside FlauntBit for purposes they haven’t agreed to.
Our Community Guidelines (flauntbit.com/community-guidelines) explain these rules in more detail.
6. AI-generated content
You may share work made with AI tools, but you must clearly say so when content is substantially generated or altered by AI. Never use AI to show a real person saying or doing something they didn’t, or to present something as a real event when it isn’t. We may label, restrict or remove AI content that isn’t disclosed, and we act on complaints about it as Indian law requires.
7. Reporting and blocking
You can report a profile, post, thought, connection request or chat from inside the app, and you can block anyone. Once you block someone, they can’t send you requests or messages.
We review reports and act on objectionable content within 24 hours. We remove the content and, where appropriate, remove the account that posted it.
You can also report anything by emailing support@flauntbit.com. For a copyright complaint, include a link to the content and proof that the work is yours.
Content that may be an offence under Indian law, including under the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 or the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012, will be reported to the authorities.
8. How we enforce these Terms
If you break these Terms or our Community Guidelines, or if we need to protect users or comply with the law, we may remove or restrict your content, limit features, or suspend or permanently remove your account. We may do this without notice.
Where we can, we’ll tell you what we did and why. If you think we got it wrong, email support@flauntbit.com and we’ll look again. You can also use the grievance process below, including the appeal to the Grievance Appellate Committee.
As Indian law requires, we’ll remind you of these rules from time to time.
9. Dealing with other artists
Connections, chats and collaborations are between you and the other artist. We don’t verify anyone’s identity, skills or claims. We aren’t responsible for what other users say or do, or for any arrangement you make with them.
Take care when you share personal details, meet someone in person or agree to send money. If anything feels wrong, report it.
10. Other services
FlauntBit links to and embeds services we don’t control, such as Spotify, YouTube and Instagram, and lets you share your card to apps like WhatsApp. Their own terms and privacy policies govern how you use them.
11. App stores
If you got the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, these Terms are between you and FlauntBit, not Apple or Google. Apple and Google aren’t responsible for the app, its content or its support. You must also follow the app store’s terms. For the iPhone app, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
12. FlauntBit’s rights
The FlauntBit name, logo, artist card designs, app and website belong to FlauntBit and are protected by law. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app and website as intended. We can withdraw it if you break these Terms.
You’re welcome to share your own artist card and profile anywhere. Don’t use our name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse you or anything you offer.
13. Deleting your account
You can stop using FlauntBit and delete your account at any time, from Settings in the app or by emailing support@flauntbit.com. Our Privacy Policy explains what happens to your data.
Some parts of these Terms keep applying after your account ends: the licence for messages that stay in other people’s chats, the disclaimers, the limits on liability, the indemnity, and the governing law.
14. Disclaimers
FlauntBit is provided “as is” and “as available”. As far as the law allows, we don’t promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, that content will always be available, or that you’ll get any particular result from it, such as connections, collaborations or work.
Nothing in these Terms takes away rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other law that can’t be excluded.
15. Limits on liability
As far as the law allows, FlauntBit isn’t liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, data or opportunities. This covers losses from your use of FlauntBit and from other users’ content or conduct.
Because FlauntBit is free, our total liability to you for all claims is limited to ₹1,000. We don’t limit any liability that the law doesn’t allow us to limit, such as for fraud.
16. Indemnity
You agree to compensate FlauntBit for losses, including reasonable legal costs, that you cause through your content, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of anyone else’s rights.
17. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. If you have a dispute with us, please email support@flauntbit.com first so we can try to resolve it. If we can’t, the courts in India will have jurisdiction.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms, and we’ll change the “Last updated” date when we do. For material changes, we’ll tell you in the app before they take effect. If you keep using FlauntBit after that, you accept the updated Terms. If you don’t agree, you can delete your account.
19. Grievances and contact
For questions, complaints or legal notices, email support@flauntbit.com. Our Grievance Officer handles complaints about content or accounts at the same address, with “Grievance” in the subject line.
We acknowledge every complaint within 24 hours and resolve it within 7 days. If you’re unhappy with our decision, you can appeal to the Grievance Appellate Committee at gac.gov.in within 30 days. Our Privacy Policy explains how to raise a complaint about your personal data.
20. General
If any part of these Terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don’t enforce a right straight away, we haven’t given it up. You can’t transfer your rights under these Terms. We may transfer ours as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of our business. These Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Community Guidelines are the whole agreement between you and FlauntBit about FlauntBit.
